Disabled Veteran Outreach Provider Recognized Eric DeMello, (1st on left) Disabled Veteran Outreach Provider for the Greater New Bedford and Wareham Career Centers’ was recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor with a certificate of appreciation for his outstanding demonstration of leadership within the veterans program on Friday, September 5th at the Statewide Veteran Conference in Sturbridge, MA. Eric has shown exemplary dedication to the veterans he serves, from building and donating reconditioned computers to veterans, to taking the time on weekends to attend local Veteran events to promote the centers. He never fails to volunteer for any local or statewide initiative that promotes veterans or the VET program. Eric serves on the state VET CQI committee designed to standardize and improve VET program performance and service to our customers. He regularly presents to transitioning service members for the DOL TAP program and is a mentor for other veteran representatives throughout the state.
